Fender U.S.A. Limited Edition '59 Reissue Stratocaster An exceptional example, picked out of a bunch, feather-light weight swamp ash body (the whole guitar only weighs seven pounds four ounces!). Nice see-through blond finish, "bigger" C-shaped neck with medium jumbo frets and a 9-1/2" radius. Has engraved neck plate with "Ltd. Edition", very clean guitar, looks bone stock, has lots of tags and paperwork in the brown reissue hard case. An outstanding sounding Strat, very resonsive at any volume, with lots of "growl". Not many made, this would have had a high retail price, sell with case for...

Fender U.S.A. Limited Edition '59 Reissue Stratocaster A special edition with certificate and all tags, etc., in brown hard case. Ordered Whte Blonde on beautiful quarter-sawn ash body, "Thinskin" nitro lacquer finish, big hefty neck with 9-1/2" radius and medium jumbo frets. Not too heavy, it's around eight pounds total, very clean and stock. This was expensive new, list price was around $2,800, sell with hard case for...

Fender U.S.A. American Series Stratocaster An outstanding example in hard-to-find Ocean Turquoise color, the finish and the plastic are ambering beautifully and look great. All-original guitar in excellent condition, has an unusual bigger fatter C-shaped neck, especially for this model, that feels great. Nice dark hard quarter-sawn rosewood fretboard with medium jumbo frets - also a little bigger than normal, and these are factory-original frets. All pickup positions sound great - especially the bridge picup - really growls, not shrill and thin like so many Strats. A killer guitar, sell with case for...

Fender U.S.A. Strat Plus Near mint unplayed condition, in the hard-to-find Pewter color, these are Phil's favorite Strat design - every problem the old Strats had have been evolved and solved, into the Strat Plus. Hi Flex truss rod, roller nut, locking tuners, two point bridge (actually stays in tune), original issue Lace Sensor pickups (we like the sound of these better than the new noiseless pickups), medium jumbo frets on a nice C-shaped maple neck with orlled edges - these were going to originally be the Jeff Beck model, which was delayed until the early 1990s and finally came out with a huge neck... The Strat Plus was discontinued in 1999, and are getting snapped up now by serious players that have to stay in tune... This is an exceptional examle, sounds, feels and plays great. Sell with original hardshell case for...

Fender Stratocaster Rare hardtail (non-vibrato) model, a feather-weight example - only seven pounds two ounces. The only changes are one tone pot, five-way switch put in 1976, pickup cavities were very slightely deepened - maybe 1/16", but all factory routs look stock specs - we are talking very little here... The pickguard is very dark amber with age, but believe is a very old correct Fender guard replacement. Looks cool as hell, plays and sounds great, nice neck. The 2007 Vintage Guitar Price Guide values these at $4,000, with only a few minor issues, this one is a deal. Sell with gig bag for...

Fender Strat Neck on an old refinished '74? body. Refinished Candy Apple Red decades ago, looks old and real cool, was originally a tremolo model that was turned into a hardtail when it was refinished, now back to stock with original tremolo. Strictly a player's guitar - it'll never be collectable - the neck was cracked at the body. It's glued and fixed and is very strong, but you can see the repaired cracks. Original tuners, repro "vintage" style Strat pickups - no brand name, but they're old and sound so good I'd leave them in. Lightweight ash body, neck is shaped and feels like a mid-'60s profile. If it were an all-original guitar it would be $3,500 - $4,500, sell this one for only...

BILL NASH GUITARS We are the original dealer for luthier Bill Nash’s Relic Series guitar - they are by far, in our opinion, the best quality for the price - they really have the look, feel, sound, and vibe of an old guitar. These are not Fenders and Nash has no affiliation with themhe gets Fender-licensed necks and bodies and does his own version of the “Relics”. To custom-order a guitar with specific pickups, necks, etc., you need to order directly from Bill - he builds guitars on a regular basis, to sell through our shop for customers who don't want the 6 - 8 month wait from Bill - and the ones we're selling already have what many want. |

| cRecent | Gibson Historic Collection Les Paul Junior '57 Reissue Extremely rare special-ordered with one humbucker pickup instead of the usual P-90 pickup, never heard of another example made - it is really cool - you get that nasty bridge pickup tone and sustain, but hum-free... came factory with an EMG pickup, now has Duncan Antiquity PAF with aged cover - screams with that pickup and the wrapover bridge - the original pickup, pots and wiring harness are in the case pocket (sounds great acoustically too - the wrap-around bridge gives it a really "sing-y" sound). All-original guitar in excellent condition - has a few dings and gigging wear - has a little lacquer checking but is overall clean and nice. | c1972 | Gibson SG-1 A very strange, but very cool guitar, has one dog ear P-90 pickup, wrap-over bridge, pickguard is gone, a little routing under the pickup from the various pickups put in over the years, Grover tuners added. Epiphone Coronet Rare early version with equal cutaway horns, and a nice big C neck - not skinny like later ones. Super fine all-original guitar, has one very minor tiny crack repair on the body by the neck - we are talking minor, looks like a lacquer check, and one "wing" of the headstock (the two pieces of wood glued to make the headstock) came loose slightly at the joint - a common problem - been glued and is strong and tight as a drum. Nice big stock frets, and it screams. We've seen these early ones bring $3,500 now, sell with case for...

Gretsch 6121 Roundup Solid body electric with hollow chambers in the body, the most extremely lightweight example we've ever seen - I mean feather-weight - most of these weigh nine to nine and a half pounds, this one is only six pounds! And that's with a one pound Bigsby on it. Has all the cool features, engraved "western" fretboard inlays, G brand. Most have skinny flat necks - this is a beefy C-shaped neck, Dynasonic pickups, has a beautiful aged transparent orange color - looks real old. Custom Stratocaster Built by California luthier Cary Irwin (recently Irwin has been quality inspector/final setup guy at Fender's Custom Shop). This was built up by Irwin - he put his own finish on a Dimarzio body - cool finish - it's black until you turn it the right angle, and then it turns dark blue, made his own custom neck - very slim and fast, ebony fretboard with big stock frets, Kahler tremolo.
