Dobro Resonator Guitar Round neck "Style 37" model, has a really nice authentic sound - way different from the new reissues. Neck looks like it had a repair at the top of the headstock, but didn't see any damage (black finish there), neck was refinished - body binding is aged amber, it looks like the body was either oversprayed or refinished, which makes it way less money - but still sound great (not like a refinished acoustic). with case, only...

National Duolian 14-fret version with steel body with "mahogany grain" enamel finish. All-original guitar - only the strings have been changed... This example was in a collection for decadds, it is, wihout a doubt, the loudes Duolian I've ever heard - you National freaks know all about the mid/late '30s steel bodied guitars - they are all loud, but this sucker barks like a junkyard dog - ain't no stinkin' love songs played on this guitar. Perfect for blues at parties with no P.A. - you will be heard... Has lots of player's wear and tear - thousands of hours of serious playing time, no repairs, has no problems and is a really cool guitar to play. Just in... National Roundneck Tricone Resonator Guitar A very rare guitar - and for those who are into the early "hot Hawaiian" slide music, this is a (slightly) famous guitar - this tricone was the guitar used on the 1977 album "Ken & Phil Emerson" recorded in Hawaii, and was the first recording sind the 1930s that has all the Sol Hoopii, King Bennie Nawahi, etc. guitar techniques recorded again - started all that old classic wild-ass slide tunes again - Ken has gone on to record a bunch of later CDs using all the old techniques, but this was the guitar used on the very first album. It was also used on many gigs with now Hawaiian legends Gabbi Pahinnni, Sol Priight Sa., Moe Keale and on and on. This guitar has a lot of history in it, all original except the old tuners - they look right, but I believe were replacements years ago. Has an old headstock repair but wasn't a major crack - it's by the 6th string tuner area, it's stable, the neck is straight, action is great, sounds heavenly. Just in... National Triolian Extremely early issue with rare wood body, only the first issue were wood, they changed to metal bodies in late 1929. This example is identical to the guitar the legendary King Bennie Nawahi used (if you don't know him, buy the CD - you won't believe how hot a player he was - truly Hawaiian Hot Jazz). These wood examples are a loght lighter weight and have a completely different sound than the metal "trash can" ones - perfect for early jazz, blues, fingerpicking, even the Django thing (think Oscar Aleman). All-original guitar with no repairs or problems, has the airbrushed multi-colored highlights on the body and neck, with very cool hula girl on the back. Lots of honest player's wear and tear, but in great playing condition. A very rare model, been in a collection for decades and is now available. Just in...
